  • Choose a favorable place to study. Study place must be free of interruptions and distraction.
  • At least one time you must read the text book material before you come to class.
  • Note making is a best method for increase your concentration. So take organized and clean notes.
  • Develop your own study rules and stick to them.
  • You must establish your own times for listen to lectures actively
  • Group study is a best method for easy learning.
  • Repetition is the only way to learn.  After you initially memorize information and do nothing to reinforce it, within 24 hours after you have been exposed to the information you will have only about 35% percentage of the memorized information.
  • Develop a method of testing yourself to make sure you are retaining information.

Stress is unavoidable part of life. The good news is that in many cases, stress is fairly manageable.

  • Exercise is good method for reducing stress. Make time for exercise. This can increase your ability to learn.
  • If you are feeling overwhelmed by a stressful situation, try taking a break and listening to relaxing classical music. This will create positive effect on your body and blood and can lower blood pressure and reduce   cortisol. Cortisol is a hormone linked to stress.
  • Good relationship with friends and loved ones is important to healthy life. If you are overwhelmed, try  a break  to call a friend and talk about your problems.
  • Regular pattern of sleep each night is also critical. Get at least 6-8 hours of sleep.              
  • Another advice is taking a deep breath.
